2. SOMA Solution
Q: What is SOMA Solution?
A: The technical Side of SOMA Solution has 3 parts 1) Wiki, 2) "bot" (connection), 3) external Site. The external Site pulls the content from the wiki. This connection is written by us. We use moin-moin for the wiki. The non-technical Site of SOMA Solution consists on different parts, too: 1) The tool box (proved rules for certain constellations), 2) our self moderation concept fitting for the needs of the company including proposals of rules for collaboration and our individuel moderation.
3. Technical Design
Q: Why do we need the two parts and the connection?
A: We have a Wiki, a Backstage for the internal communication and we have an external page. The working plattform is also the content mangement system for the external site. Every internal communikation can be easily transformend into external communication. The external communicion will be a cut-up of internal communcation ON the external communication. Technically SOMA-Solution will always have 2 web adresses: One for the wiki (Internal collaboration platform, content management system for the external site), one for the external site (you see what the customers see).
4. Navigation
Q: I would like to have a navigation tool located on the right sidebar.
A: If you log in, you can add any site to your personal navigation system (right sidebar). Just add the site to the "Expressverweise". This is important because everybody has BACKSTAGE a different project working on. If I work with people in a Wiki everyone has his own starting page. When it is a project or a company, I also integrate a to do list. You should make sure, that everyone in your company is logged in and uses a personalized sitebar.
5. Look
Q: I would like to change the front and its size. Is this possible?
A: This is backstage. We can put any skin on the backstage, but this makes only sense if we have standards to offer or a big company wants it. Every user can have a different skin. But we will have a Soma-Skin for the Wiki in SomaFarben.
6. Comments
Q: Can comments be posted at the end of each entry - as long as the readers/users are logged in?
A: This is not a Blog - but a wiki. You just write your comments IN the text. Here you can use the syntax http://www.keshma.net/doku.php/research:wiki:autorenkennzeichnung If it is an external page you can use the comment function or you use the syntax [Pagename]Intern.
7. Pics
Q: Can I integrate Pics?
A: Yes, it is very easy. You just copy and paste the pic-adress for example:
You will get a personal account where you can upload pics or you can use any other source. If you want to paste a pic which is already in the net, you just copy the address (click on any pic in the net with the right part of your mouse, go to copy pic address, past it into the wiki.)
8. Video & Flash
Q: How do I put Video or flash?
A: This is easy to do, you can switch to HTML Modus by writing:

9. Text for one Person
Q: I would like to send a wiki page to only one person. But I don't won't to give him the possibility to change anything and to see all textes in the wiki. Can I do this?
